Beauty Post: April 2015

So after doing a 4 night shift (crazy me >.>) I was happy to receive my BirchBox and Glambag. Not unless it's a dire emergengy and not because someone just want to switch so that they'll have a longer day off, I'm not doing it\ again. Like I said before it's really taxing physically and mentally. Physically mainly because you don't have an aide to help around cleaning, repositioning, holding down and distract them, mentally because we'll I'm dealing with mostly confused, delusional or paranoid patients. When you come for a several days shift, you have to have more than a glassful of patience for them. to survive it.
Skipping that sad sob story, let's go to my first beauty box~ BirchBox has this awesome box was designed by Rifle Paper Co. for a Spring Theme (Flower Power? xD)
My April BirchBox includes (starting from the left most item)
Beaver Professional Hydro Nutritive Moisturizing Shampoo and Repairing Conditioner (both ends in the image) "...delivers much needed nourishment to repair and rebuild strands... strengthens dry or damaged hair, leaaving it softer and smoother."
Darphin Intral Redness Relief Soothing Serum "...calms redness and evens skin tone. It's ideal for sensitive skin."
Cynthia Rowley Beauty Brightening Illuminator - "velvety highlighter leaves skin radiant with a subtle, slightly shimmery glow."
LAQA & Co. Sheer Lip Lube Pencil in HoneyPot.  "Perfect for spring, this high-gloss semi sheer lip color glides on buttery smooth."

I'll be changing a bit things up since I haven't been using all the products in the box.
So with this April Birchbox, most probably I'll be using the lip lube and the highlighter. I have already a routine down for my hair since I have tried a lot of brands and has always kept my scalp so dry. I switch to an Asian brand, Shiseido Tsubaki Shining Shampoo. Yes they have hair care products for those who are only familiar with their make-up line. And Aussie Miraculously Smooth Conditioner. I'll still give the shampoo and conditioner a try, maybe later on.
I won't probably have time to use it since my skin is kinda okay right now, no redness or irritation since I've been using (yes again) asian skin products for my skin.
And like I mentioned before the most item that I would be trying/using on is the lip lube and highlighter. Good for everyday use and the color is medium pink,  it's only slightly lighter than my natural lip color that I kinda looked like I'm not wearing any. The lip lube is a bit dry for the lips imho so use a moisturizing item before or after applying. And the item says, it's a highlighter, makes certain areas pop or create an illusion.

Ipsy's glambag has this bohemian theme going on, good for the spring and the spring field concerts that's going to pop everywhere this season until Summer.
First in the bag there is an invitation for a beauty convention happening at the end of May. Sadly I have work that day so not unless someone is willing to switch with me I wont be able to go, and the entrance's fee for the 2 day convention is more than my 4-day AX badge. But then again per invitation there is an almost $200 with of swag bag... It's hard to switch schedules with someone because it's a Saturday (insert sad face here)
One thing with the glambags is that they don't have an information sheet enclosed. You had to go online and find out what item you received. I guess it's costly to print it out when your have thousands of subscribers and they receive different items than me.
(from top left to bottom right...)
Klorane Dry Shampoo with oat milk - natural tint - it's a dry shampoo... I'm like eh on this one. It's Spring, yes, but it seems like Summer's taking over because it's warm, like sweat inducing warm. No cold breezes left over from Winter. No. Sweat warm for me. So dry shampoo, sweaty scalp (no not really tmi) that's gotta stink. No. Good when you're not like me, and you're in a hurry not to miss out on sometime, or you just don't give a damn about how your scalp actually smells. This is for you.
Starlooks Satin Finish Lip Gloss - I like how it has this slight chocolate scent on it but then lip gloss... ummm.... to me it's sticky and gross when it dries up it feels like I have chucks of dried glue on my lips

Evelyn Iona Cosmetics Concealer - I have to admit I am no beauty expert. My knowledge is average I guess, or semi average. There are some products that I know of but don't use often and a concealer is one. Usually the products are self explanatory, this one has no label, with an unfamiliar logo (I was thinking, Elle? xD!) in a small sample container you get when you ask in Sephora.
JulieG Nail Color in Damsel, a dark/carnation pink shade (remember crayola folks? xD). I am no damsel, that's for sure but I like the shade. Need only 1 - 2 coats (1 for me)
theBalm Cosmetics Nude Dude Eyeshadow (single) in Flirty - a medium shimmery chocolate color that I'm guessing is a part of a palette. Not much of a come on if you ask me. One color, that's it. This one is a good combo for the Coastal Scents Revealed palette sampler in Latte I received months ago. I have been actually using that one as my current go to and is thinking of getting one, closer to the Naked series palette 1 and 2, and with Groupon currently offering it on sale for half the price!!!
Getting back on the item, I'm not impressed much because it's only one color from the palette. Doesn't make me want to get the whole set. One thing I noticed after cleaning my hands from the sample is that it has a hint of red in it. :D

This April box for me Ipsy's got it since I will most likely use and enjoy of the samples I got. Maybe get another shade of the nail polish since it comes with a $1.00 off on any Rite Aid branch. Sadly, I don't think that there's a closer one in my place hahaha! so the discount is waived off by the travel expense.

Aside from that I feel sorry for my nails looking ignored, lifeless and blech.
First one  didn't come off as much as I want it to me. I used the Konad stamping plates (forgot which ones). I wasn't feeling this one, the yellow background (thanks color wheel >.>) turned what's supposed to be blue into green, so there's no distinction with the stem and the butterfly. Just basically wasn't feeling it.

Looking through my plates (; ; need moar hahaha!!!) I was inspired by one as it reminds me so much of the Marauders Map in the Harry Potter series. I just need the right color, so since I was planning to do some #foreveralone movie watching, I stopped by Ulta and grabbed this Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in Tupelo Honey. I liked this product, $$ for a nail polish but as it says no need for base and top coat, and dries fast. I didn't listen to it though, hahaha I still use a base coat, nail strengthener since I wash my nails a lot for work, makes my nails very brittle all the time. And needed a top coat for this one to seal in the stamped design. I used plate Konad plate m100 and theirs special nail polish in black. I was planning to add more depth with darker and lighter shades but that would take time and at this time, I didn't have enough. Still turned out well. Nice and simple.

Well that's most of it for this beauty post. Until May's beauty post. I hope Birchbox would send me good stuff this time with majority of it, I'll be able to use. I like to be surprised on what they send me depending on the survey they have up. I do have some products from BB that I loved tho :) that's worth getting the full product. Mainly the Beauty protector products.

Beauty Post February 2015

Tadah! Finally got both of my packages from Birchbox and Ipsy
Birchbox is celebrating the kind of love (real) friends share instead of the usual couple thing.  I guess they've been there done that.
Color Club's nail polish in Status Update is the first one in my list. Excited that I got (another) nail polish in my box. It's a darker shade of grey, sort of bordering black.  Pigment wise, I only need to put one coat to get (my) desired effect/shade. For me tho, it's a bit flat on its own. It's a good base for nail art.
Harvey Prince's Ageless - So far I've been mostly receiving their perfume sample, and not being a fan (not a hater) of perfumes I got none to compare so I mostly with my sense of smell here. I only used a spritz of it and the scent for me is a bit strong. Tho it tones down a bit after aa couple of hours, the softer scent I can go with.
I beg to disagree at the description. It says, "... makes you feel and smell 8-12 years younger." Maybe if you're 40. (Sorry)
Cynthia Rowley Beauty Eyeliner - I got a black one and its been on the market for a long time. Most of the products I would guessbut I'm still doing my take on it. Anyway I like how it easily glides and pigmented it is. My experience with eyeliner pencils is that as the day goes it smudges around my eyes giving me the raccoon look, that's why I stuck with a liquid eyeliner. With an eye primer it just fades away. Easier to reapply rather than cleaning up the smudge. And some aren't soft that it takes a firmer hand to put on. That I don't like since we're working with eyes here, and the skin's fragile in that area. If it doesn't glide on the first time, it's out. (or I give it away)
Sadly, I don't use eyeliner everyday so I have tons of it at home waiting to be used alternatively. But if you're looking for a good one to use, try this one.
Paula's Choice Clinical KP Treatment Cloths- didn't have the chance to use the one. Description says "exfoliating cloths fight keratosis pilaris and body acne." I don't have the perfect skin that's for sure but it would take days to see results. It says there that 1 cloth is enough... we'll see if its worth buying for more. I just hope I remember.
Beauty Protector Protect  Detangle -  "... locks in color, protects from heat damage and adds silkiness." In the bottle it says leave in conditioner. I'm a bit apprehensive since I don't have good memories with these kind of products. I remember one having a foul smell (imho) and one leaving my hair sticky and itchy.
The smell is sweet but not overly, that's already a good chance for me to use it. Texture wise, it's not sticky for me at first but when when it dries with your hair the stickiness disappears. I still have to use it and test it when I go out and see how it well works with my hair. Aside from that I still have to look up the ingredients since there are some that I'm allergic to. The sample bottle didn't have the list in there.

Cynthia Rowley's eyeliner - really looks dark :D I just hope I keep it on all night when I use it xD!

My Ipsy's info card (or whatever it's called) features Christen Dominique looking all pretty and comfy with the balloons (Geh! I'll get the pic at the end later). My Ipsy glambag has these samples~~

EVA NYC Up All Night Volumnizing Spray - Doesn't seem sticky and stinky. I used it the other day when we celebrated the Chinese New Year (Happy Belated!) in Chinatown in downtown LA. I just left my hair air dry XD and the weird hot afternoon, cool evening temp didn't frizz my hair as it usually does. ^^b Happy that the last spray I fell in love with, I was allergic too, found a new one
Mitchel & Peach Flora No. 1 Fine Radiance Face Oil - Oh wow, could this be it?! I'm one of those people whose T zone area is super dry that I had to put moisturizer every hour or so (okay maybe two hours...) yes that bad. but then I read the description online
"A highly effective face oil packed with powerful natural anti-oxidants and vitamins that are instantly absorbed to leave skin feeling plumper, firmer and glowing with radiance."
As I read more, it doesn't say anything about moisturizing properties *insert sad face here* though I would still try it out for the back of my hand first and see if I have any allergic reactions to it. So far none, and it kinds leaves my skin a bit smooth *flutters*. Again, I still have to wait a bit to try it on when I'm not working since I don't want to break out while I'm in there, would be a bit inconvenient.
Blush in Cosmopolitan01 - I don't use a lot of blush when I go out, my staple would always be a liner, powder and colored lips. I should start using one as it leaves my cheeks too pale and I kinda look sickly hahaha!! Well not entirely. I tried using a cheek tint but since I have some spots in my face that's red, the tint just emphasized those areas further. I have some blushes that I'm using atm, and will try this one. Can't have too much blush and eyeliner if you use it a lot. Ohohoho!!!
City Color Creamy Lip Stain in Flirtini - well, I did say that I love lip colors, I tried this one when I went out. It dries up my lips, and when it does I had to take it all out and not just reapply because the dried out parts doesn't look appealing when reapplied atop. I did use a bafoundlm before it generously. It's okay to use though, if it dries the taking it off and reapplying everything is a bit of a hassle for a lazyass like me. Hahaha!
Emite MakeUp Eyelash Curler - the color combo reminds me of my Shisheido one, which I use very often. I like it as how it bends places (??) perfectly for my lashes. But since my Shisheido eyelash curler is still alive, I have a backup to use later.

The return of the comeback... hahaha! Okay I'm being weird.
The past months I've been really having this terrible dryness in my Tzone area and my moisturizer can't keep up with it. I'm short to running and going to a dermatologist and go like take all my money, but sadly I don't have enough of the last part *cry* Then I forgot that every winter or cold season I've been using this face lotion and I ran out the last time, and since it's not an easily available here I had to look for it at asian beauty shops. (No, Amazon OVERPRICES things, add the shipping... yea twice or triple the price, I'm a cheapskate so no) Thankfully when I was thinking of my skin, we were in Little Tokyo and found it again. It's Hadanomy Collagen Mist Face Lotion. Works well for me, and I use it whenever it's cold since it dries my skin faster. Hopefully it works again for me since I've been with it for long *cry*

*** I hit publish days ago and didn't notice that whatever I did do got lost. I do apologize since I usually blog off my phone or tablet. Any substantial editing I had to use the laptop ^^; like right now since I have to redo/retype everything.***

Beauty Post: January 2015

Dundundun!!! First post for the year and it's about the stuff I'm addicted too... yes I love beauty products though I'm no beauty expert. Like everyone else, I learn via Youtube.
Before all that I hope you have a Happy New Year (it's still January!!!) I hope your holidays were eventful~~
Before saying anything else (or typing for that matter) one of the things that makes me giddy about these sample boxes is that I'll never know what I'll get. It maybe something I'll like, love or not (in short, be disappointed) but then it's the nature of these sample boxes. Either go continue subscribing of just stop if you're not happy anymore.
My Ipsy January's glambag, "Fresh start" consists of
(1) Astrida Naturals Orange Mint Lip Balm
In my opinion, I can't have enough lip balms since I kept losing them or ^^ forget them in my pocket (and end up in the washer... *facepalms*) The smell's more of the mint and the orange's really faint. Applying it, when you read mint, you'll feel that tingling sensation in your lips and I was expecting that. It does it's work as a lip balm though, just the orange mint is a bit deceiving...
(2) Teadora Rainforest at dusk Nourishing Body Cream
Truth to be told, I got enough lotions and body creams to last me for a year. And that's saying something, lol. I don't use them often as I'm picky with the scent and the sensation/feeling it leaves after being applied. Some feels more greasy compared to some, and the smell is either too strong for my taste. This one is on the too strong smell for me. Too woodsy/musky for my liking, but would be good for a guy to use. xD!
These 3 items from the glambag I'm in love with xD!
(3) Probelle Nail Lacquer in Into the Blue
It has been that I love painting my nails and getting a nail polish in my glambag is a thumbs up for me. I like that I only need  coats to get a nice color and it dries fast (yay!) I still have yet to try the shade if it works well with my Konad stamps
(4) Hikari  Eye Liner in Storm
It glided really well when I was trying it on my hand, but a different story when I tried it on my lids. xD! (picture below) the middle one is one layer, and doesn't show well with my skin tone I had to use or more to make it show on my skin or use as a highlight
(5) Pacifica Natural Mineral Coconut eye shadow
It's like a very light beige with tiny sparkles good to use as a highlight for the brows xD!

My BirchBox 2015 Let's do this box contains
(1) Oribe Shampoo for Beautiful Color
To use when I shower later and hopefully remember to update xD!
(2) Dr Lipp Original Nipple Balm for lips
Yes, another lip balm and I like this better compared to the one I got from the above :P. I don't have to layer it down just to feel my lips moisturized. Just a hard time squeezing it out of it's tube though.
(3) Tocca hand cream in Grapefruit and Cucumber
Smells more of cucumber than grapefruit, shame that sometimes I try to go with my smell first, but after putting it on I can smell the grapefruit though the cucumber's a bit overpowering for my poor nose. I like how it's not greasy in my hands. The last hand cream I got was too greasy and sweet for my smell I got dizzy after 2-3 uses and gave it away. ^^;
(4) MyChelle Dermaceuticals Advanced Argan Oil
I'm a bit wary trying this one for now since I tried something new, I'll skip this one for now since I have work later and can't afford to show signs of any allergic reaction to it while working, no bueno.
And finally!
(5) Coastal Scents Revealed Palette Sampler - Latte
I'm too lazy to google the shades I have but the sample has 2 glittery shades and 2 mattes. The glittery ones are pigmented while the matte one had to put more, and most probably would be lost in my skin tone.

On some side notes...
I need a new case/drawer/something similar for my stuff since the one I have doesn't hold much of my stuff anymore, I should make a mental note or write it down so I don't forget haha and some new dressers *facepalms*
And I think I've said before how I like my bath and love using body washes. I found Village Natural Therapy at Walmart, tried it out and fell in love with it.  I used the Aches and Pains Therapy and I sure do need it after shift. The Eucalyptus and Menthol in it doesn't dry out my skin, and the soothing feeling helps me sleep faster xD! I use it alternatively with the St Ive's Shea butter body wash...

Beauty Post: December 2014

Finally~~~~ hahaha!!! After editing my previous posts, since I had it all *_* on drafts and didn't have the time to edit it before, I reach December~ lmfao!
Well I made it a point to myself to update my blog (even though I think one or two oorrr none reads it hahaha) but since the life has been dull lately, the only fun and/or exciting that happens to me is getting my subscriptions.
Anyway, I was happy that I got my Birchbox and Ipsy at the same time this month~ At the same time!!! Lol! Well because last month *coughs* I didn't get my Birchbox until the last week of the month when it has notified me that my box already shipped out days ago.
Birchbox's this month was designed to help prepare for the upcoming festivities and I guess that is just what I received.
1. Mirenesse Secret Weapon iCurl 24Hr Mascara
One cannot have enough mascara, and I kinda use it a lot xD! To me it's just a simple look going out put mascara, lip tint and face powder and start doing errands~ The mascara's heavy on the color and heavy for the lashes ^^; but if it's just boasting the unique brush and the dramatic look, I'll stick with Maybelline, it's a cheaper alternative for me
2. Vasanti Brighten Up!
If it's not a peel it's a exfoliating cleanser. I'm looking forward to using this product as I liked the scrub I received I think on my first (or second) birchbox. Compared to the Acure Organics that I got before which was grainy, this one is like washing your face with very fine sand. I used a bit of it in my hand and liked the smooth feeling it left on my skin.
3. Cynthia Rowley Beauty Creamy Lip Stain - Sugar (Nude Pink)
Not excited with the color, but my sister is xD! She wanted a nude color lipstick or stain. Texture wise, it's not as sticky as compared to the Mally beauty liquid lipstick, but you have to do 2-3 coats if you want it to be seen or visible.
4. Beauty Protector Protect & Oil
I like hair products :D! >.> If you have been reading my posts I like it when my skin and hair feels smooth and silky, on top of smelling good! The scent smells yummy, and it doesn't feel greasy on my hair. Hopefully I'm not allergic to it as when I tried the Macadamia Healing Oil spray.
5. Whisk Shave Cream
._. hahaha~ I'm not sure if I want to use this product. I mean I haven't been using a razor since I started using those no shave creams and it doesn't leave my skin dry afterwards. Price wise, I would stick to the no shave creams or gels, most of them includes a plastic shaver (or spatula, I don't know what they're called) compared to buying an expensive shaving cream and razor. Now being allergic to the no shave creams or gel is a different thing tho :P

Ipsy: Thinking of you bag
1. Bumble and bumble All style blow dry
Definitely using it tonight, going out to a party and hopefully this doesn't leave my hair heavy or dead
2. Nourish Organic Renewing Eye Cream
I have nothing to compare this one with, and truth to be told, I haven't tried out any eye creams xD! I'll update again once I've tried this one out
3. Nyx Butter Lip Stain
I read that it's Nyx and I ran away. LOL! I never had a good reaction to Nyx, my sister thanks me as this is one of the cases that she ended up again with one of my samples ._. I had her to try it on but as it's not as pigmented as other lip stains are. Pass *_*
4. Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes
Yay I got 2 mascara's one from BB and this one. It's light on the lashes, but needs more than 2 coats to be visibly show. I like it better than the Mirenesse one even though I need more coats but I can control the "dramatic" effect I want on my eyes. I'll be using more of this one, price wise again, Maybelline but if you want to add a few bucks (like $3-4) you can try out/get this one
5. Crease/Shadow brush
It's a makeup brush... I am happy~

Since I'm starting to have somethings to compare to, It looks like I might be using more of the Ipsy products compared to the Birchbox D:!

Beauty Post: Backtracking to November 2014

The month of Thanksgiving!!! And yes, I have a lot to thank for. I'm blessed with family and friends who are very understanding and always there for me. And news that I got hired at the hospital I'm applying for~ Wooohoo~~~ Thank you for the prayers *insert heart here*
I had my last day at work already, thanked everyone at worked. I have a week free of stress (well not really) before I start on Monday.
Also I thank that I subscribed to Birchbox and Ipsy! Hahaha! Yes... I'll deviate there hahaha! Work is stressful, one of the few things that makes it less is getting these box/bag every month, it is as if (as the others are saying) "it's your birthday every month." Some may say that it's a waste of money, well it makes me happy :P and it's not as if I'm spending hundreds of dollars, yes it's a few bucks, but compared to my stress level its nothing.
Anyway, November month I started to subscribe to Ipsy~ I got lured into it from the positive (and negative) feed backs of other subscribers, and getting more skin care products from Birchbox. I like getting random stuff but not from the same category.
First off, since it's my first Ipsy Glam Bag, them for the month is Glitter
1. Be Delectable from Cake Beauty Hand Cream in Strawberry and Cream
It smells really sickening sweet like you want to eat it, but alas it's a hand cream. The scent to me is a bit tiring so I can only last for a day, after that I need to switch to something else because it's too much for me. What I like about this product is that it does moisturize and keeps your hands soft and it's not sticky. I have don't know where the glitter here is xD!
2. Glamglow Powdermud Dual Cleanse Treatment
I'm still debating whether to use it or not, smells good and it doesn't have an ingredient that I'm allergic to (well as of the moment since I did just recently found out that I'm allergic to macadamia oil). I like how it smells, I work with my nose xD! well not really but if I don't like the smell I don't like to use it, most of the time.
3. Be a Bombshell eye base in Submissive
Before trying a new product I read what are the stuff in it, yes I'll try it even though it has parabens on it (of course I'll like it more when it doesn't have it ^^;) but because I learn which and which not I am allergic to. This product has macadamia oil *cry* in it so I'll pass using it. Color wise, at first it's a shimmery bronze color but I had my sister (huehuehue~) test it, it comes out mostly as a shimmery base.
4. Jcat Wonder Lip Paint in Mad Splatter
It is highly pigmented, a little goes a long way... it's a deep purple or mauve. Something you can wear in the office, like a power lip color (is there such a thing?) but not when you're going shopping or exercising... or a lip color suited for going out at night, just add something glittery/shimmery/ glossy for clubbing at it's a bit matte to me :P
5. Starlooks eye pencil in Ultra Violet
The item I most enjoyed in the bag. As the color suggests it's in ultra violet, with specks of glitter in it. I have a not so good relationship with eye pencils, but this one's very soft, quite pigmented and glides easily in my lid. I don't have to fight with the pen or my lid xD!

Birchbox on the other hand is helping raise awareness and money for the fight against AIDS, and was donating $1 for every Instagram photo with hashtags within the month. Maybe not a lot but with the collective efforts of the subscribers, we could reach thousands~
1. Gilchrist & Soames body lotion in Relaxing Sea Fennel
It's more of a cool cucumber scent and yes a total opposite from the one I received from Ipsy. I would use this more compared to the hand lotion I received as the scent isn't sickly sweet. Doesn't feel greasy and to me leaves a cooling sensation.
2. Juice Beauty Green Apple Peel Sensitive
Another peel ._. haha~ I think I received three already. My face is dry already, I have to look it up somewhere if using peels would make it worse. I would pass using this one for now (or maybe use it on my sister huehuehue~)
3. Coola Mineral Sunscreen in Matte Tint
Sunscreen with SPF 30 and a BB cream. I guess good when you're out in the sun, something to take note of when summer comes xD! It's already almost Winter, if not already (heh I fail my seasons) I like how it glides to my skin, and can be used as a base for your make up.The matte finish takes away the shine on your face. But don't forget (like me) to use a moisturizer before.
4. Model Co Party Proof Matte Lipstick in Get Naked
Nude color. It's in matte, it looks like your not wearing any lipstick at all, thus the "Get Naked". I don't know what else to say *sweatdrop*
5. Chuao Firecracker Chocolate
"Mini Chocolate bar with a dash of chipotle and popping candy in dark chocolate" - The popping candy is a nice touch, but it taste's bad, even my sister (who loves chocolates) didn't like it. I don't recommend trying it, not unless you really want to, go ahead. I ain't paying for it lol!
6. Klorane Dry Shampoo with oat milk
I know I'm lazy, but not that lazy to wash my hair with shampoo and conditioner. I won't be trying this one anytime soon, not unless I'm really in a hurry. But with my profession, this won't work. I have wash my hair with water to make me feel like I've removed all the gunk out or something liek that. Hair's feel softer though xD!

I'm not really good with ending stuff so lol! Let's jump to the December hahaha!

Beauty Post: Backtracking to October 2014

It's October, Halloween month~ xD!
Felt like it's my birthday again when I got my Birchbox, I'm happy with I got for this month since most of the samples I'll be able to use and test out.
1. Dr Brant Pores No More Vacuum Clear as you may have guess, yea xD it's a vacuum cleaner, just kidding. It takes out blackheads. I asked my sister to try it out as these kind of stuff I'm a bit skeptical. I guess I never got over a bad experience before. She said it was okay... To me that sounds, no not really.
2. ModelCo Powerlash High Impact Black Mascara: I like this product, I use mascara almost everyday, but for the price I think I'll stick with my Maybelline Volum' Express The Colossal Washable Mascara. As long as you really put them on nicely, they don't clump on me.
3. Harvey Prince Petaly Noir: "Flush floral scent that evokes a midnight stroll among blossoming orchids"; The scent to me is very heavy and strong. In my opinion, something that you may want to wear on a date, and/or wanting to seduce the other person. One may want to keep this scent to do that xD!
4. Mally High Shine Liquid Lipstick - Petal to the Metal: "Ultra shiny formula acts as a lip gloss, lip primer, lipstick and liner all in one" To me it's sticky, you need to use a balm first or your lips are going to dry out. It doesn't fade out fast, and it's easy to apply. Shade wise, I was aiming for the Melon as I don't own a orangey or coral shades and wanted to try it out, but I got the Petal to the Metal. Really shiny, pigmented and well to me a bit sticky, but stays on your lips~
5. Essentiel Elements Wake Up Rosemary Shower Gel: First thought, smells like medicine to me xD! One thing I like about shower gels and such is the scent and how it leaves my skin feeling smooth. And it didn't. *sad face here* At least I guess it foamed D:! hahaha~~~

Beauty post Backtracking to September 2014

As I have more time to do it now I'm backtracking to my September, October and November Birchbox and Ipsy, my takes on the products, more of like err am I gonna use it or not...
For those a bit confused, Birchbox and Ipsy are both subscriptions that sends you at least 5 beauty samples every month...

SEPTEMBER: Birchbox
I was lucky that I was able to sign up just before their anniversary month, they sent one full size beauty product to their subscribers
1. Temptu Highlighter in Champagne Shimmer: Yes it's the small bottle, my make up style is mostly asian type, not much with the highlighter, just a simple blush sometimes just a cheek tint.
Yes, it's that small bottle
2. Real Chemistry,  Luminous 3-minute peel: my face is dry, always peeling, gave it to sister to use, she said, nothing happened... LOL
3.Macadamia Professional Healing Oil Spray: Yes, I am believer oh now amazing this product it. My hairs feel so smooth, easy to manage and style. Thanks to this product, I learned I'm allergic to macadamia oil too... I cried. It's one of the products that really worked on my hair but I started to have rashes.
4. Acure Ogranics Day Cream: Smells really good, not too greasy in my opinion but since my skin is so dry, didn't work as much as a moisturizer for me I had to use the one I'm using for safe measure.
5. Harvey Prince Ageless Liquid Loofah: I have to admit I love my shower, my whole family knows that. So I love getting these kind of products, but this one is a bit disappointing in my opinion. The scent was nice, grapefruit-vanilla but you have to have a strong sense of smell to notice it *_* and didn't (as the product description says) hydrate and softened my skin.
6. Dundundun~~~ (No that's the name xD) Chapstick!! : It's a duo or dual, my English fails me today, one end moisturizes and the other renews. Aside from the Macadamia Healing Oil Spray, the other useful product that I got from the box. I've been using this a lot, with and without, before and after my lipstick and it does what it says. I don't like the feeling when my lips are dry and you can see the skin kind off peeling off, it's very unappealing.

So that's if for the September, I didn't subscribe to Ipsy until later~~~
