Mostly what I've felt today aside from the normal body pains and aches, and headache. Happy because I've been applying to hospitals, I followed up she said she'll be calling either yesterday or today...
Nervous because of the wait, am I hired or not. It's either thank you for applying, better luck next time. Or, congratulations you're hired time to start a new chapter in work life.
Sad because working at SNF where majority of the patients are in long term care, and someone expires, can't help but make you feel sad, and makes you wanna cry. She's like your adopted granma even with her always confused state and incoherent mumbling, slapping you for no reason at all. So tiny and light, that my 5 foot self can carry her back to bed. I'll miss my halmeoni... She's in heaven now, with all the angels...

It's time
A co-worker once told me, at the beginning of starting a new work crying on the first few days is acceptable, because you're still learning the ropes. But if you've been there for months, and started crying again, that's not for you. Better to start looking for another one, before you start deteriorating and become a lifeless body.
