I really started young, maybe around 9 or 10 years old. I remember a bit that I started with Sweet Valley Kids, then High, then Nancy Drew, Hardy Boys, R.L Stine's books (which for a kid is effin' creeptastic) and from there romance novels (which is bad considering I was a teen hahaha!!!)
I never get tired of reading them, maybe one story is the same from another author but still engaging for me the same.
I've read thousands already, seriously my Nook alone mostly have a thousand already and that doesn't include the ones I've bought and borrowed through the years.
One of the few regrets I have is that when I was still in high school I've read this book probably published during the 90's by Diamond Publishing ( os something like that). It's a series, much like Sweet Valley about school life of girls in a dormitory. My school library had 2 or 3 of the books but sadly not all of them. I want to finish the series but again it was years ago, I don't remember the title just the premise of the series, I tried googling the company (sadly again...) it was already closed and not a lot of information is available through it. Sadly, sadly, sadly not a super detective like Drew and the Hardy bros.
Anywho, I have most probably abused Nook in a way that I have been spending too much per month. The stupid me didn't acknowledge that it's competitor Amazon Kindle had introduced their unlimited books for 10 buckaroo per month... ugh that's waaaaaay less than what I spend.
I'll talk about support and pet peeves maybe in my next post if I remember but for now I'm feeling happy... elated... and much more xD that I could afford my addiction to books. Hey :P at least it's not drugs or some other vice xD

Tiring week
The week is not yet over but I'm tired already. Schedule's full this week and I'm dead tired. My feet feels numb and painful. instead of me getting some rest even for a day I haven't or rather the day where I planned to rest got ruined by someone who doesn't act like his age. To make it short he's really an idiot. He's doesn't use that brain. It's really frustrating to deal with him most of the times. I admit I'm to practical but that keeps me sane and feel secure. I've outgrown the days when I don't think or not plan things ahead. Having a safety net or plan b keeps me less stressed because I know there's something I can fall back to.
Times like now, today, you have to learn how to control. Less of this, learn to say no. It maybe hard in the beginning but is something that is important to know and do. You can't forever live that way. People aren't always going to be there for you, maybe that sounds harsh for some but when times get rough those people you call friends will choose what's important to them and chances are you're not on the top of their list.
It's really sad, he's hardworking but he doesn't know how to manage well. More sad, is that I have to deal with it because he doesn't listen. He refuses to listen.
I pray that it doesn't last long. It adds more to my stress and me closer to death.

Late again
So far, what's been happening at work is that I get home super late. There's so many things we do at the graveyard shift that we are left doing it until hours later after we clocked out. I'm thankful that I have a job but always too much work to do, so little time and the deadline always looming in your face.
Now I know why folks from the subacute doesn't want to, even to float on SNF because of the work load on one person. And the fact that they're all out of bed, in their wheelchairs running away from you.
I'm always looking forward to my days off, unfortunately even on my days off I have important things to do but misses them because I'm still dead from the previous shift. Need a change of scenery.
Case manager isn't for me, so is SNF.
I should have stayed on accounting, the stress would be less because I'm not taking home work. What I mean by that is that you get home relax and not think about work.
