The week is not yet over but I'm tired already. Schedule's full this week and I'm dead tired. My feet feels numb and painful. instead of me getting some rest even for a day I haven't or rather the day where I planned to rest got ruined by someone who doesn't act like his age. To make it short he's really an idiot. He's doesn't use that brain. It's really frustrating to deal with him most of the times. I admit I'm to practical but that keeps me sane and feel secure. I've outgrown the days when I don't think or not plan things ahead. Having a safety net or plan b keeps me less stressed because I know there's something I can fall back to.
Times like now, today, you have to learn how to control. Less of this, learn to say no. It maybe hard in the beginning but is something that is important to know and do. You can't forever live that way. People aren't always going to be there for you, maybe that sounds harsh for some but when times get rough those people you call friends will choose what's important to them and chances are you're not on the top of their list.
It's really sad, he's hardworking but he doesn't know how to manage well. More sad, is that I have to deal with it because he doesn't listen. He refuses to listen.
I pray that it doesn't last long. It adds more to my stress and me closer to death.

SYTYCD Stage VS Street Part 2: New Format
So unlike with the past seasons, they changed the format this season (I guess to shake things up) to Stage VS Street dancing. Styles like ballroom, contemporary, tap, jazz and other with formal training will be categorized as stage They're going head to head against Street which includes a variety of street dances from hiphop, krumping, breakdancing, and etc.
10 from each will be chosen for the top 20 and each will be lead by an all-star from previous season. Travis Wall will lead the Team Stage, while Twitch will lead Team Street.
This format as far as I've been reading on some site were I guess not happily accepted? Well it's either that or they just don't like change. For me, let's see how this one goes first because I do find a couple of pros and cons on this.
As we all know from the past season, they take at least one of the best dancer in that specific style to make it more diverse. Ballet, ballroom, hiphop, jazz, contemporary, tap, etc. And as you have noticed, the stage side is dominating most of the slots in the top 20.
With the new format, what they used to pick as 15~18 spots for Stage dancers, the competition between them will be more fierce as the spots for them to be filled up is a little less halved than what it used to be. So far with the auditions from Dallas, Memphis, Detroit and Los Angeles, there's really a lot of very talented stage dancers. Though most of those I've seen are ballroom and contemporary.
Good news in a way for the Street styled dancers because of what we used to see in the past seasons of having 5 or less ( I guess xD), they have now a higher chance to get into the top 20 because there are more spots offered to them. It's an opportunity for them to showcase their style of dance to more people, and let it be known. And not just introduced to us from a music video. xD! They've also been given the chance to go further because during the Vegas week, they'll only be introduced to choreographies similar to their dance style. BUT that's where I would guess most of them will be stunned, stumped and challenged. They have several challenges on this competition and right off the bat is choreography. Most of them dance freestyle, depending on the person, s/he may/may not put up with the challenge. Those who have tried before got into Vegas again has an advantage in a way because they've experienced it. And another, is maybe partnering. They dance on their own, doing their own thing, being paired with someone may throw some of them out of their comfort zone. The two maybe the main challenges street will encounter and many more I would guess.
With the past format, 10 guys and girl s are chosen to fill the spots for 20, and every week a couple is voted out. I don't know if they're going 5 guys and girls from each or just 10/10, and one from each will be voted off.
There's still the NY auditions and Vegas week, ( I think) before we all see how the format changed the formal competition. Still watching the series since i haven't really felt the change during audition, maybe well see more during vegas week and the formal competition.
SYTYCD Stage VS Street Part 1: Semi New Judges... they hired who?!? WTF?!?
Nigel as we all know have been there since the beginning and yes maybe for some he doesn't look like it but over the years he knows his stuff. What is good and what is not. Though being in the business aspect of things, and entertainment value, I would guess, he has an eye for not just the talent but from what this person can bring on the stage. There are a lot of talented folks out there with super great techniques, but as we have seen with the competition, their lack of luster in personality, in connection with the audience, how in tune are they in the performance and the list goes on, makes them lose the people's votes.
Paula Abdul, well truth to be known I'm not really confident in her judging abilities. Yes she is a famous personality who judges in several reality singing/dancing competitions but I don't know. It's really hard explain, just look at the talents she chose in the past, more miss than hit. This is a really diverse dancing competition, I admit that I don't know how far her knowledge of the different style goes but so far... Jason knows more than her. Not that I'm comparing but her roles seems to that way, Mary's used to balance with Nigel's way of choosing his talents and I'm guessing they're using her that way but like I said up there, her judging skills for me is blech. So far there are so much negative posts I've read regarding Paula replacing Mary, and it seems like if she doesn't pull through, chances are the show might get less viewers as opposed to more.
Jason Derulo is the third permanent judge, though the third seat is always random as far as I know during the past seasons. As a guest judge, he didn't really make an impact on me. Maybe he knows some of his stuff, but judging in a very diverse dancing competition like this, my belief or confidence on him is on the "eh what were they thinking". So far the past 3 audition episodes, he's quiet but he feels kind of lost in some of the style, but the style he's familiar with he voices out his opinion.
I hope regarding the judging panel that during the show they would invite someone who is knowledgeable, trained or experienced to help them judge because if it's left up to them 3, this show is going down. Thankfully knowing that during the audition and Vegas week choreographers shares their opinion on each individual who goes into the top 20. Well hopefully they kept that part with the new format because really no fair if these 3 are the only ones who's going to chose the top 20... I have no more words.

Master Chef S6 E1 to E5
So after 5 episodes, I'm still happy that it's back. I mean the Juniors are awesome but the thrill and drama's on this version.
They didn't show the auditions as with the past seasons. But wow first episode claws are coming out so is erm... their unique personalities.
Welcome the new judge Christina Tosi as Joe steps down from the MCUS panel, I think he's still a judge on one of the franchise. Ms Tosi is a pastry chef and co-owner of Momofuku Milk Bar. I think that adding an odd one out balances the judging panel. Both Graham Elliot and Gordon are chefs but Joe being the odd one out is a restauranteur who's on the business side of things, tho he knows his stuff. This time Christina comes from, let's admit, the side that's been deemed stereotyped to. Just because there pastry chef they don't now how to cook except bake and make desserts. I hope she proves people wrong. So far her personality is showing to be sweet (lol compared to Gordon) but the past episode she's showing a bit of her claws xD
First of the bat, 20 homecooks thought that, well they're in the top 20 now to compete. But as we all know these shows will try to throw in something to make it more challenging and get more viewers (haha). So they got another 20 home cooks to vie for the top spots. A pair, or a couple depending on their style of cooking were made to compete at each other. Baker vs baker, chicken dish vs chicken dish and so on. In the end the judges chose 22 to compete. I was actually rooting for Taylor vs Katrina battle. For one I didn't like Katrina's attitude. Crying, frustrated look just annoys the hell outta me. Taylor for me is someone who still have the potential to learn and grow more. Have that confidence, drive and humble attitude to go further. Aside from the fact that if you push him he's going to push back harder and kick someone's ass. Sadly at the all or nothing battle to the top 22 he lost to Stephen and Shelly.
From then to the lastest episode 5, 4 from the top 22 have been eliminated. Double elimination from the top 22, Briana and Mateo got eliminated.
Highlights not so much for me but damn personalities really makes a difference here. Rocker Derrick really got that suave angst thing going on but he's overconfident and hopefully it doesn't kick him in the ass later on. Farmer Stephen is someone I disliked after being an ass. At first knowing what he does, I'm like much respect but after showing America how much of a potty mouth and an ass he is, I'm like wtf k bye. He also reminds me of a Bipolar in a manic stage. Christopher, the Asian guy has some issues too. He's always on the defense, to the point that it's way out of the line and totally embarrassing. Tommy (sorry it's obvious and if I'm offending anybody) gay and fabulous, please tone down the bitchy attitude.
First team challenge for the top 20, Kerry and Darah became team captain chosen by the judges. Each team have to prepare a burger and fish and chips where they have to serve theme park visitors (Knotts Berry Farm). There weren't any much vote of confidence with Kerry vs Darah due to his HR ofc background, but from what I've seen on this episode he did much better than Darah (theme park employee).
Kerry's red team was able to plan and delegate quickly so they can start their prep. While Darah's blue team struggled with her laissez-faire leadership.
To quickly shorten this one, Kerry's team struggled with the demand but was able to pull through. Kudos to Nick for stepping up.
Darah's team with her weak leadership skills and weak team skills x.x whom I've seen cheering... CHEERING!!! her team on... wtf, gurl do some work, chop or prep something, you're personality's not helping at this moment. They struggle because nobody's helping poor (I'm being sarcastic here too at the same time) Katrina. Ask... for... help... Tommy isn't helping either, running his mouth instead of helping to speed things up. Kudos to Claudia for stepping up for this team and Derrick for also pulling through.
Even though the cheeseburger got more cheers than red's burger, knowing how much of a train wreck blue team is. My guess was right with the red team winning.
Elimination challenge was cringe worthy. Darah made me hate her. Really saving the asses of mates that aren't deserving to be saved for half of your votes? Not saving Derrick and Katrina? Girl's blind. The personality of the ones she chose didn't help them to win. Why? Production was slow, they missed more plates. And from the people who got interviewed, clearly they loved their burger version and their beer batter. The only good decision she did was not saving herself. In the end she lost the cinnamon challenge and was eliminated.
My viewpoint with team challenges with group this big, get an assistant or second in command. It's a team challenge, do things that'll save your team from elimination not lead them into it. If your second in command see something you don't that person can delegate or step in to that role. Communication from front to back. What happened to Katrina was that she has the tendency to shut down especially when pressured and/or stressed.
Nick, Claudia and Derrick did well as they stepped up, and did their best to save their team. They we're speaking up, but sadly for the blue team it was going into deaf ears.
(Like I said these are my views, I only have an inkling for stressful situations but not with their particular dilemma)
This latest episode crabs were the mystery challenge. And is indeed a challenge for Hetal whose a vegetarian. I for one don't know how to cook or even know how to eat crab properly thus I'll usually opt for the crab cakes lol. 1/3 I guess with most chose to go that route and it looks really delish. Jesse, so far someone whom I have not noticed since this latest episode made noise with his crab pot sticker (sorry i forgot) soup and won this round. As per usual he got advantages and one of them is not cooking from the elimination. Which (duh) saves him to the next episode.
Quite dramatic on how they revealed the star ingredient for the elimination challenge which turns out to be corn. Jesse's other advantage is to pick for the other remaining contestants on how they will prepare this start ingredient. The option is between sweet and savory. Jesse picked savory for the strong competitors in which Gordon noted that these competitors might overthink what they have to prepare on the other hand Jesse chose sweet for the weak competitors in which he hoped to weed them out.
In this challenge Stephen and Shelly won and would lead the next team challenge. While Justin, in my opinion let his anger pull him down. He let Jesse's mind play got to him.
Seriously this shit is going better lol! Can't wait for the next episode.
