Hopefully things go well...

Last weekend I started my regular scheduled work with the skilled nursing side (SNF) of our facility.  No more random schedules and being stuffed here and there.  I'll miss the sub acute side though,  things are much easier since we have a supervisor and don't have a lot to worry about while on duty. Since they're a for profit company,  they only have 2 nurses on the floor on the snf, and one of the is the supervisor. Gah! Also they'll just accept any patients as long as they can pay.  /wrist
IMHO they need 3 nurses and 4 CNAs with the current census they have but no, they're like "fuck you nurses deal with it" I am slowly getting discouraged with the way things are, I guess I'm just too idealistic sometimes. Either I'm not right for this job or the facility isn't the kind of work environment I should be in. Yet again, I am on a job hunt, hopefully find the place I would thrive in.
The past few days I've been thinking if this was the right profession for me,  or I would rather have a 9 to 5 job, go home and not think about it and just relax. It's very tempting. But I'm not getting any younger thinking about these stuff.
*sighs* nothing motivates me now ): I feel numb and dead...

I'm kinda the same way, but for different reasons. I like 9-5 work because I get to go home and draw lots for my sidelines. :3 If drawing could sustain me, I'd just draw and not work office stuff.

Good luck, Lei-Lei! Will continue to pray for you~ *FIGHTING!*
