Mostly what I've felt today aside from the normal body pains and aches, and headache. Happy because I've been applying to hospitals, I followed up she said she'll be calling either yesterday or today...
Nervous because of the wait, am I hired or not. It's either thank you for applying, better luck next time. Or, congratulations you're hired time to start a new chapter in work life.
Sad because working at SNF where majority of the patients are in long term care, and someone expires, can't help but make you feel sad, and makes you wanna cry. She's like your adopted granma even with her always confused state and incoherent mumbling, slapping you for no reason at all. So tiny and light, that my 5 foot self can carry her back to bed. I'll miss my halmeoni... She's in heaven now, with all the angels...
