I have no idea why but today was one of the worst days onboard. For some reason or another our instructor has some kind of an OCD problem asking us HUH?! questions here & there. I must admit I haven't yet mastered/memorized common drugs given at the hospitals. I mean yes it is common but it's not everyday we encounter them enough for it to be stamped in our minds. Or in my mind for that matter. I also admit that I'm not the smartest person around, I rack my brains for information enough for me to get a headache (or migrane) at the end of day. I dunno today was soooo off. It took me an hour to give G-tube meds w/ her. I mean I am getting a lot of them recently, but just being with her takes over 1000!!! minutes (LMAO!)
Another reason why is that all of my patients are so talkative to the point that I need to go tend for my other patients but I everytime I try to divert/sneak out they'll start another story... *bangs head on the wall*
My nurse was also >.> *stab!* Everytime I need him he disappears, everytime I need to give meds he's also not there. John (not his real name, if you know what I mean xD), I can't pass out meds without you! Since I'm still a student, I can't pass it alone at this stage and please be clear with your instructions. *pulls hair*
The nurse aid is also NOWHERE TO BE FOUND! I mean her patients needs her assistance. *cries* So I also have to take care of them atop of my patients.
I guess the least of my problems is being able to communicate with my patients. Solo hablo un poco espanol.
On another note... YAY! I found a nice layout that currently suited my taste. It was a while before I was able to tweak the twitter widget. I wanted it to blend with the layout as much as it can. :D Holla!

Oh, by the way, change the comment option to pop-up window so that the spam protection is easier to navigate through. :) (The layout kinda eats it up)

Anyway, I think the nursing assistant's new. She was rough on the patients and I have no idea where she goes. I would only waste time looking for her ^^;
