Pottermore! Yay!

So, after waiting for weeks for my Pottermore welcome email, I received it yesterday. At first I thought I have to wait until October to get my email since it’s Sept already, and less than a month to go before anyone can sign-up.
I guess some spoilers coming up…

First of all, like the site suggested, it would be more of an experience reading the book at the same time. It’s fun exploring the site as it gives us idea about the setting and have the feel of being there at the scene.
Right now, only Book 1 is up but most of the options atop of the page is already done. Members unlock these options as they progress on book and I’m guessing that last option would be Hogsmead, that won’t come up until their third year/Book3.
As soon as the member gets sorted, s/he can win points for their house by playing Wizard’s duel, mixing potions and finding items along the way.
I haven’t yet tried any dueling, and failed my first attempt to make a potion. But it seems to me that atm, there isn’t a way to earn from the game, in case you wiped out the 500Galleons you get by opening an account at Gringgots.
For now I’ll continue to play and earn points for my Gryffindor house! I’ve only contributed 39 pts lol! 1pt for every item and unlocking stuff that I did, I think. xD
